Kidskin: Also known as young goatskin, kidskin is the most popular choice for GTAW gloves because it offers protection with excellent dexterity

Goatskin: A good choice for added durability while retaining some dexterity, although durability is significantly reduced

Split Deerskin: Extremely fine and provides the best dexterity, although durability is significantly reduced

Combination: Cowhide on back with kidskin palms offers both protection and dexterity
