Timberland began producing the first truly waterproof boots during the industrial revolution, a time when other manufacturers were moving towards factory-produced goods with little attention to quality. Timberland, guided by the highest regard for durability and workmanship, led the company to produce rugged, sturdy clothing that could be worn comfortably for regular everyday use. Timberland has now introduced Timberland PRO, a line of waterproof, insulated boots with safety enhancing features like a slip resistant bottom and some models with safety toe technology.
